FYI, this will be about the new MTV show, not that sad excuse of a movie.

So, when I first heard this was being made (about 3 months ago) I shat bricks. Because I will admit, I hated the movie. I really really LOATHE it. So I was looking forward to it being a failure.

And since it was MTV, my exceptations were at zero. (Need I mention "Skins"??)

It was a few weeks ago, that I was browsing my Twitter timeline and I saw that an account I follow, who's owner I share similar tastes in, also thought the same. But then they mentioned they got an email from one of the producers. Turns out it was gonna be focused on a more horror-like premise than the "Twilight" rip off we thought it would be (mopey teens with dragged-out romantic conflicts and shitty writing)

This kinda got my hopes up. But I was still a skeptic XD

The preview on the show's website got me excited to watch the real thing. After torturing myself to watch what was practically the Twilight awards, the time had come.

My mind was BLOWN AWAY. Like.... I'm seriously excited for the summer now. It's not overly dramatisized, the sexuality isn't exaggerated, and I can totally believe the actors because of how young they are. I like how it's flowing in a good pace and it gives off an air like something much bigger and scarier will be revealed much later in this season.


Oh, and I think I like it because it has some similarities with a story I'm currently rewriting. But there's obvious differences *derp*

So, I'm gonna shut up and get back to writing/drawing/UTAU XD
