Maul+TV=Destruction

Well that was productive. ;)
We've had an old tv in front of the house that needed to be disposed of, but there's really no proper disposal place around here, and I really do support recycling.
So I simplified the solution. We have a nice big15 or 20 pound Maul in our shed.
For those who don't know a maul is basically a big sledgehammer type tool with a sledge head on one side and an axe on the other.
Well this big old tv's just been taking up space so my solution?
Break it into little tiny pieces and dispose of them. XD
Don't worry though, like I said, I support recycling, so I made sure to break all the plastic into little pieces and sorted them out into the plastic recycling. The raytube, well, that'll have to wait until we can find an actual proper disposal site. :P

You know I actually thought of that, but I figured, there's already enough videos on the internet like that. And if you really wanted to see good destruction of electronics, you can always just watch the Fax machine bit from Office Space.
Did you try http://1800recycling.com/ or http://www.epa.gov/osw/conserve/mat.....ing/donate.htm for possible recycling locations or sources?
