Who dosen't love tools?
....and NO, not people. Since I've been out of school, i've been thinking A LOT about art tools (pencils, types of paper, pens, ext.), and how sometimes we just never realize how much potential we have to create something amazing. That's why i'm going to try and practice drawing the same thing a bunch of different formats...i've made myself a list as to what I want to practice, and if anyone wants to join me, be my guest. Actually, i'd be very happy to see anyone else join in too.
Tools
-Average Pencil (can be any type, so long as it's not a specific artist pencil)
-Average Pen (same as pencil, used for everyday stuff)
-Markers (crayola baby )
-Sharpie (Warning, do NOT smell them!)
-Coloured Pencils (not the good type like Prisma colored pencils either)
-Different coloured paper (just cut them up to create the item...interesting)
-Fabric? (VERY optional...would be interesting, however)
-Crayons (Just like kindergarden! )
-Chalk (Normal everyday street chalk)
-Macaroni? (f*ck it, why not?)
NOW to the more advanced forms!
-Shading pencils (Could be any brand...at any rate, their bound to look nice)
-Inking pens (or gel pens, they work too)
-Advanced coloured pencils (Prisma quality, if you can afford it)
-Watercolour (Colouring under the sea)
-Pastels! (Any kind, either way, it's pretty advanced.
Alrighty, now here are the simplest shapes I want to try these out with!
-Circle (sphere)
-Square (cube)
-Triangle (cone)
...And that's pretty much it! If anyone is willing to do this with me, please post and send me a link, i'd really like to know how you all did!
