So, I am really excited about heading up to the london meet next weekend for so many reasons. The general merriement of a meet, seeing friends and meeting people, hugging fluff balls!!

The main one however is rather sentimental. I have dubbed it my personal 'annifursary' as it will be almost a year exactly I have been in the fandom, and it all started with a london meet :)

Last year my best friend  bunny-yote took me to see Wicked for my birthday and this co-insided with the london meet, 25th june. I had previously known about the fandom through bunny, and enjoyed the artwork. In fact at this point I had been putting up with him chanting "you're a furry really" for over a year! But as I stepped into the fur filled area and bounced inwardly over all the tails (okay okay, maybe a little outwardly too as bunny and waffle can attest too!) I felt a sense of belonging that was fully cemented when DanWolf gave me a welcoming hug. Almost a year ago at my first meet I accepted I am a furry.

Since then I have met many wonderful people at the meets and cons I have been too, and have made many close friends that are dear to my heart.

So this meet, apart from being a fun meet where I get to hang out with friends and make new ones, is quite exciting and bouncy, but it is also only my second london meet!!! Rather fitting and full circle really!! ^^

Oh, and did I forget to mention it will also (again in a fully fitting way) be the first time I suit!!!! My partial should be ready in time to suit with Wrath, Mercury and the others!!! So that's sooooooooo exciting!!!!! So first london meet, join fandom, second meet, join fandom as a suiter. I wonder what my third will bring! ;)

I think that is enough for my sentimental rambling, so looking fortward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones alike. I will come pounce and hug. Look out for me, I will be the one in the schnolf partial made by  blackkrystal see you fuzzballs there!!!<3
