Green Lantern; my suspiscions (pretty much) confirmed

So as soon as I saw a trailer for the Green Lantern movie I thought it would suck. Then I saw one of the new trailers, the ones that show all the other Lanterns, and thought, "Hm... maybe it won't be so bad after all. I'll at least go see it with friends if they feel like going." Now I don't even really feel like doing that after watching MovieBob's review. :(

If you don't know who MovieBob is, then look him up. I like him, though I try to take his reviews with a grain of salt. He is, as a movie critic, by his own admission, very hard on films. He's seen a LOT of them; a lot more than the average movie goer, so he gets bored by things that have been done before. Where the public (myself included) may like a movie, he might find it played out and predictable just because he's seen a bunch of movies that were just like it.
That said, he also usually has good things to say about the movies; even the ones he doesn't really like. However, that is not the case with Green Lantern.

Long story short, take it with way more then a grain of salt. Does this make Green lantern a good movie? Nah, I wasn't even interested in the trailers. But I just thought I'd throw this out there. The guy's got an Ego, now, as most people do when you get popular, and it really, really shows.
