It is good to see a response from you. As you work on this, you might find it useful to put a list on your page showing who you owe art to, and cross it off as you go. Lets people see that progress is being made, and would help you keep track of things.

A very good suggestion. Will take me a couple of days to compile the list. Got to go back through old messages, e-mails and Paypal transactions to find them all.

I hope this matter gets settled soon enough. But the overdue is not weeks but years and some waited even longer than I did. I am willing to extend forgiveness and I will make a follow-up post on the AB-post on livejournal if you do redeem yourself. But before I do that I will need to see a bit more than words. A list would be good for starters, as suggested above. But in the end it's the sketches and art themselves that will provide evidence for your intentions.

I agree with Dekopuma, above, that an on-going list would probably help.

Sorry, but after 2.5 years (November 11th, 2008) and with 3 projects due, I am firmly in the deeds not words camp on this one.

While I hold no personal anger over this, I have had artist run late before and come through with excellent results. But pardons will come AFTER delivery and with time, not not before and certainly at the public mea culpa.

You owe me nothing. In fact, speaking as someone who just looks at your artwork and occasionally favorites things you've produced, I think--technically--like most of your other watchers--I owe you for simply sharing with us all.

I am sorry that you've been through a lot. I can understand how health and other such things can really put a damper on things.
I do hope that you'll get better both in mind and health. No need to add stress to yourself.

I do however Strongly agree with  dekopuma a list would not only be wonderful, but would also sate the curiosity of those wondering where they are in line and thus reduce the notes and questions to you. Sure it's a little extra time on your part, but trust me, it will Really be a life saver in the end.

I know that I would like to know where I stand in my commission, and I know others would to. All I know is that there are those that have waited longer than I have. I think for me, it's about a year and a half. So..yeeeah, that list would do Wonders for us all.

Communication is the best thing really. We all paid for a service, and honestly we all got nothing in return but questions. Even just a note or a journal explaining things real quick helps out a lot.
Sadly i've been screwed over by far to many people I've commissioned, so forgive me please if i'm lecturing or sound wary.

Aside from that, good luck with everything. :) I do look forward to your creations.

It's been some months since you posted this. What is the status of the pending commissions? Are they being done? Any WIP's to see?

Sadly, my expectations were confirmed as I celebrate the third anniversary of my past due commission.

If you are intending to rebuild bridges, a 6 month additional production delay is not a promising start.

No progres reports

No emails in reply

Same old broken promise

Commissions are now 3.5 years past due.

No sign of promised work.
No evidence of progress / sketches / list of order pictures are getting done
No communication back in response to requested email in subsequent message.

Just another empty promise now one year old, so readily abandoned and broken.

This is NOT the way to repair / restore a business reputation. Nor is it the way to inspire future business.
