catching up, and rebuilding bridges
I know I've been gone offline for a long time, and I won't go into the reasons why, just to say I've been under a doctor's care all these weeks. Nothing life-threatening, but definitely life-changing.
I owe a great many folks here commissions from far back. Many of you are angry with me, and I don't blame you. You paid me money in good faith to get quality artwork, and all you have gotten is excuses and delays. Well, as part of my "treatment" so to speak, I'm to work on all art projects, one at a time, in the order of most importance (IE, money paid, time overdue) until I have completed EVERY piece of art owed.
So, one at a time, everyone I have slighted, not lived up to will be getting their art done. I will be posting the finished work here, unless you do not wish it to be public. Please, do not swamp me with notes and requests for time for your art, all I can say is it will be done, and done over the next several weeks as my own personal time permits.
Thank you in advance for your patience, your understanding, and for those willing to offer it, your forgiveness.

Well, I hope things are improving. I hope art brings the happiness it promises. It does sometimes for me.
You are doing the right thing and taking care of what needs to be done, and owning up to your errors instead of running away and hiding. That earns my respect for you, not to mention validates my reasons for watching you.
Oh my! I kind of want to know, but I'm guessing you probably don't want to say, since you didn't x3
And welcome back!
What can people do to bolster you as you move forward?
I agree with Dekopuma, above, that an on-going list would probably help.
(By the way, I don't think you owe me any artwork. I'm just glad to have you back online.)
Yours,
Sylvan (Dave)

But it's nice you're back now! :D
A simple explanation is all that was needed.
Carry on, sir.
I hope all is okay - i had a lot of stuff here done too especially a lot of university stuff ^^
While I hold no personal anger over this, I have had artist run late before and come through with excellent results. But pardons will come AFTER delivery and with time, not not before and certainly at the public mea culpa.
I'd have to dig through my records for the exact number, but I'm in the 2year+ owed club as well.
Thanks for sharing, and I'm ecstatic to see you back and producing once again!
I do hope that you'll get better both in mind and health. No need to add stress to yourself.
I do however Strongly agree with
I know that I would like to know where I stand in my commission, and I know others would to. All I know is that there are those that have waited longer than I have. I think for me, it's about a year and a half. So..yeeeah, that list would do Wonders for us all.
Communication is the best thing really. We all paid for a service, and honestly we all got nothing in return but questions. Even just a note or a journal explaining things real quick helps out a lot.
Sadly i've been screwed over by far to many people I've commissioned, so forgive me please if i'm lecturing or sound wary.
Aside from that, good luck with everything. :) I do look forward to your creations.
And yes, when it is finished, I'm perfectly fine with you posting it. Just please give me a link. [although I do hope I get a high rez version?]
If you are intending to rebuild bridges, a 6 month additional production delay is not a promising start.
No emails in reply
Same old broken promise
No sign of promised work.
No evidence of progress / sketches / list of order pictures are getting done
No communication back in response to requested email in subsequent message.
Just another empty promise now one year old, so readily abandoned and broken.
This is NOT the way to repair / restore a business reputation. Nor is it the way to inspire future business.
