Oop...I messed up. The name of the track isn't 'Prominence', but you're flying through a tunnel of flames where many of those arks spiral out of the fire at your ship. Anyway, that game was where I first learned about that word.

Mine seems obvious. Lots of people (understandably) assume I'm a Digimon. XD Of course, Digimon is where I first heard Garuru(mon), but I just thought "Garuru" sounded really cool and it seemed like a great name for my existing wolf character. I wondered if it had some meaning, so I eventually got around to researching on the net and found out that "Garuru" is Japanese onomatopoeia for the growling/howling sound. So it turned out to be a perfect fit!

And of course, you know about my other main character, Blitz.

What's the story with yours? I think you might have told me before. I always assumed it came from the game Gradius (I remember when I first joined a certain Pokemon chan on IRC, the owner's name was Gradius and my initial reaction was "Whoa! What are YOU doing here?" before I realized it wasn't you. XD

Mine are generally pretty boring, but my Gamer Tag has an interesting story.

Gem and I were talking about Pokemon while playing Soul Silver/Heart Gold, and I was looking up what different HM-like moves my current Pokemon could learn (Headbutt, Surf, Cut, etc.). I got to my Furret and found out it could learn quite an array of handy moves for getting around, so I called him my Swiss Army Furret, after the knives and how they're known for having a tool for any occasion.

Hence, SwissArmyFurret was born.

Mine was actually a typo error, one of the first websites I signed up to I wanted to originally be known as Roshi, but I hit the wrong key before registering over on Yoshi Corner, but when I went to erase the mistake, I read it again, then I was like "No, actually, I prefer Toshi", thus signed up as that.

Xyrho, my 'sonas last name, is basically a rip from an MMO character, a game that I played religiously for a couple of years, until it decided to close its doors on the world. I can't remember why they closed such a wonderful game (in my opinion) but as a tribute, I took it on to be my characters surname. Plus it breaks me apart just a little bit from the generic "Yoshi fan character who basically replaced the Y to make a name", which was true originally, but I suit it too much really and don't wish to change it.

Actually, I came up with this name while playing some kinda of off-beat version of D&D with my friends in high school, about thirteen years ago. It just stuck with and has served me as my alias here and gaming.

Myyyyyyyy name came from a dagger in Final Fantasy VI, the best in the game called 'Graedus'.
When I was a kid, I used to doodle weapons and cool magical swords and stuff, and made one that I called the 'Graedius'. I forgot about the name until way later, when it was time to register an identity at a forum I went to -- and I have a long list of names I use for all sorts of things in games, and what have you -- and I picked this one, even before I was a raccoon furry. Before I was anything~! It was just a name.

Rinzy is a variation of the original name, Rinz. THAT name was derived from a point when I was in junior high and I was infatuated with Chrono Cross. Had a Larvitar character named Shen, and he basically became my "pokésona." But a lot of people seem to have "Shen" already taken for a screen name, so I added a random last name "Sorein" to my screen name when making an account for AIM. That's basically became my mainly used screen name in a ton of places. Most of those places don't allow spaces in screen names, and I didn't wanna use any underscores, so I simply combine the two names into "Shensorein."

Well, Chu is pretty self-explanatory, and due to the common usage of it, I often need to use another name, hence Lorethian. way back when, when I first ran into this dilemma, I raked my brain trying to come up with something; at the time, just like now, I was really into D&D, and one of the gods, Correllon Larethian, was one of my favourite... though I didn't do any research on how to spell it, so I got Lorethian. it's much more unique, though I still occasionally run into other occurrences of it that aren't me. But google Lorethian, and the majority of them are me (usually traced along my history of naughtiness x3)

Mine was pretty much a fluke, pulled from thin air! For a long time I was "CalicoPaisley" and I still use that handle for distinctly non-furry/professional uses. But it was around 2004 I started drawing more porn for art supplies monies (you go through a LOTTT of supplies in college!) so I wanted to come up with a snazzy name that people would remember easily et voila. Even still each time I hang out on SL I seem to get at least some kind of message to the effect of, "Now why does that name sound so familiar..."
Funnily enough I had the name before I decided on species, likewise -- but with a name like "Kaput" it follows you need a playful critter like an ott!

It was one of those things where like... I was never exactly prudish about it (!) I would just save R-XXX rated commissions for very special auction occasions. I guess I fancied that keeping the X-commissions rarer would up the auction price or something. I always enjoyed doing them but it was when I started posting under Kaput and getting so much feedback that the fun-factor exploded! Positive reinforcement rocks. It's partly the feedback, plus as you I always love a challenge. (Hence the group pictures lately!)
