Happy happy birthday, from all of you to me!

Today is my seventeenth birthday! And what better place to spend it than in the US's second largest Renaissance festival?
Especially nice since most of my family forget to get each other presents. So my current present count is: A viking helmet with real Ram horns, a beautiful hand carved staff, and a leather bound journal.
Also, though I requested these presents be delayed until we are back in Washington, I will be receiving a 3DS, along with three games for it.
I've also decided to begin ridding myself of that greatest of distractions, the internet. Not entirely, but I'll begin writing stories and such in my new journal while sitting outside, rather than trying to type them first, and being constantly distracted by the internet.
Hopefully, this will result in me getting somewhere in my latest work. A tale of three (number subject to change) stuffed animals fighting a young boy's nightmares.
Anyway. I have successfully made it around the sun 17 consecutive times. Party!
