An idea I had but haven't had much time to implement is to sketch lots of various furry types in random poses, which can later be used to speed up future commissions, that way some would essentially be halfway done already.
Maybe that can help you too next time.
Also, you should charge a bit more for future coms, too cheap might be hurting your motivation.
You're good enough for $4 to $14 for sketch to fairly complex.
Also might be best to not accept payment until a pic is getting somewhere, avoids some anxiety.
