Whats up with the info in the terms that says you have the right to charge our credit cards for the account fee. I thought it was free?

The EULA that we are using is based off a template, so some of the term are a bit generic and we intended to modify it as needed.

The game is free to play, and actually we don't end up taking your credit card information at all. In-Game tokens may optionally be purchased, however all the actual billing details is handled through PayPal and not us directly.

I do agree this may be a section that needs current revision and I'll be sure to bring this up with the other core developer.

I tried it except my anti virus thinks its a virus or something and closes it immediately after it starts. so I cant actually get in the game :(

O.o! Thats a first. Perhaps you might be able to add an exception in the prefs. I swears I r not trying to take over your computer.

Um..this looks like minecraft, only with cartoony avatars that really don't fit with the rest of the look of the game. In fact, some of the textures (the bookcases) looked like they were ripped right out of Minecraft o.0

It does look like minecraft, being a game that is built with blocks it's kind of unavoidable.

Minecraft is an adventure game where Open Realms is a social MMO, so functionally it's more along the lines of Second Life or Furcadia.

As far as the book case textures, the zone in question is one of our user's zone. User's have the ability to upload whatever textures they like to use on a block, so they may have just used a texture from Minecraft. Though I've been in there before and I believe they are a lot higher resolution.
