If you're looking to boot from the new drive, you'll likely want to use a ghosting program, which can make a ghost copy onto the new drive of everything on the current drive. Some ghost programs let you retain how much space is used in the partition on the new drive (Leaving any extra partition space partitionable) while others can also extend the partition table. However I cannot recommend any good ghosting program being I have never really used them myself. Hope this helps.
