Gah... I hate my damn shyness...

Recently... I've had this real problem with talking to people. In general, but especially on here...
I mean, it wouldn't be so bad if it was just here, but it's been something I've dealt with my whole life. Like, not being able to look people right in the eye when I talk to them, or even at their face. Mostly, it only really gets hard around people I don't know, like clerks at stores or new people.
But lately... it's kept me from talking to this one person, someone I've kinda wanted to talk to for years. Literally, years. *sigh* Well... honestly, I guess I'm just venting a bit... hey, maybe I'll get lucky one day and that person will decide to randomly talk to me..
