I've been thinking about this for a while now...and I've decided to change my name. I don't really like the name Hoshi..i only picked it when i was new to this fandom because i didnt want to pick a name i thought someone may have. and step on their toes because of it.
i digress...I've decided on the name "Amir" instead, It was my great grandfather's name back when my family was still traditionally arabian, and i've always liked the sound of it.
When i make a new account i'll post up a link here to it so you guys can watch me if you still want to..

but I got a bad feeling now that you mentioned you're persian, a whole bunch of people are gonna 'Sparta' mob you.

And you're right, it's the most important thing that you can identify yourself with your fursona und your name. Do and choose what feels as the best for you :)

I'll try to express it in another way: You should be happy with your fursona
and your name. Do whatever helps you to be happy with yourself (changing your name, your fursona etc.).

and it's understandable i know a very small amount of german, i know sentences are said differently, and that english is possibly very confusing.
