Real life is a *beep*, but I'm making progress.

Sorry for dropping off the face of the earth for a long time. I'm not dead, I swear. I stopped coming on here for a while when the DDOS attacks first started, and kind of never got back on 'cause I got so busy. How I was busy is a lot of crud no one wants to hear, and I don't like talking about my problems anyway. If ya really wanna know, PM me, otherwise I don't ever want my journals to be negative or complaining.
On that note, here's the good news. I went to AC and I met a lot of people this time who really helped give me a boost in both ideas and confidence (which I suspect I needed the latter most). I have a lot more things to try now with both my art and my stories. So with luck I will finally be getting some things up here in the next few months (I say that long cause I don't wanna make it sooner and then let people down, and real life is still making things slow). What goes up may be very random though, fair warning. And while I am experimenting with stuff, there's a good chance a fair amount of it will be general art, not all furry stuff. (like landscapes, abstract art, and who knows what else). I may also be working with my other mediums. I really suck at drawing, I have come to terms with this. I know I can do a lot of other digital stuff (finish work like shading, coloring, effects, etc.). But most of all I can work with other mediums, like paint, pastels, watercolors, charcoal, etc (also clay and wood, but that is not something I can really show online). I have not tried to do much with it in years because I thought the fandom as a whole only cared about pencil-draw or digital art. But I think from now on I will just do what I like with what I am good at, and if others like it, all the better. But it won't be a requirement anymore. So that's one less thing for me to get hung up on and slow me down. So here's to the future and getting off my big hiney and getting some art done!
