So today is July 4th, 2011 and it marks one more year of being the nation of the United States of America. We've been free for these 235 years thanks to those of us who have devoted their lives to fighting those who would take our freedom. I'm writing this journal to bring special attention to two of those people. First and foremost, my love,  kaimitsuki who has exactly one month left of his AIT training at Ft. Huachucha Arizona. He's in the Army Reserves. Secondly,  acefox27 has just deployed to Bahrain with the U.S. Navy. These two deserve our thanks for serving in our armed forces so that all of us don't have to.

Every day I miss my love terribly, but as much as I miss him I'm proud of him. Having been by his side through his training I've gotten to see just want it means to be a soldier and now I'm doubly grateful that I don't have to do it too. X3 It takes an iron will, strength beyond measure, and a real dedication to yourself, those you care about, and the country we all live in to make it through and come out the other side.

Today we should all go to their userpages and shout on their pages sending our best wishes, hugs, and what have you. Even if you don't know them, they'd both love to know that we all are thinking of them and appreciate the job they're doing to keep us safe and free.
