I understand the mature photography rules but if its not portraying a sexual act then why is it an issue? who cares if its a pup hood if nothing is being done? As far as the rules state, fair is fair. As far as anyone can tell by the picture maybe you just enjoy wearing them around...if its not an explicit picture then they shouldnt be removed. There are a TON of suits on here that are adult and dont get removed because the pictures ARENT SHOWING ANYTHING. No user would know unless they themselves have gone elsewhere off of FA to see. Same deal with leashes, cuffs, pony play, etc. Being as that is a common and harmless fetish, its really not any of the mods business to investigate what your craft is being used for whether sexual or not. also, ps, in case users werent aware, this is FA, sex happens in boxes enclosed by red... deal with it. I'm not really concerned either way as to the outcome of what happens here, but I can throw in a couple of things.

1. Calling a ruling that was made "fucking bullshit" is not a good way to try and make your point heard. If you present a reasonable argument as to why you want to keep your pictures up, you're more likely to be heard.

2. "Some british fur fag from what I can tell who became mod." is still a mod. And I can tell you right now, if people were posting on a "support" journal like this one, and I got called that, I'd immediately ignore any sense of logical argument that you would make to your cause.

3. Being a puppy symbolizes many things. It symbolizes not just a fetish, but a lifestyle. If I ever had any puppy who had the gall to say "Some mod got all high and mighty" would suffer through a months worth of punishment of the worst kind. It's disrespectful, it's abrasive, and it's everything that what you are and work hard at being, is not.

I wish you luck on getting your gallery back, but you need to make the right approach about it.

I completely agree with you and I wrote this while I was upset. On the other hand, I did contact dragoneer and presented my arguement in a clear concise way. The way that I was approached in notes by the mod I am addressing and the fact that he gave me no time to save pictures I now can never get back have ticked me off.

I do not like to be constantly ok'd by one mod on a subject, to be blasted by another. There is nothing in the aup regarding this, yet the two mods contacting me about are saying that they are not allowed quoting the aup over and over when what they quote has nothing to do with what I had posted.

I am having problems accepting their ruling when there are people like stego who makes fetish gas masks, lagardo who makes custom fetish gear, shimi zaru who makes leather gear, noble and fs6 who are making adult suits and posting them, even though they are not adult in nature but intended for that use. To me, that's not only not fair, but they are held to a higher standard just because they are more "popular"

They have been going at it a lot lately they even took down the image of a Sculpture I built in Minecraft that I posted ages ago reason being they don't allow screenshots from games in there. While I would agree with that if it wasn't a game made specifically for building and making interesting creations, much in the same way that artists can use photoshop and the like to create digital paintings. I like using minecraft as a virtual sculpting tool though I will admit it's pretty limited in that way which makes it a challenge for me lol

well, after a massive drama bomb... most of the pics linked by http://www.furaffinity.net/user/yourahypocrite/ were deleted (as well as his journal, and his account suspended), well, all except for 3968992 which is somehow mystically admin approved even though it is still just a pup hood and even bears the submission tag "fetish - tame" even tho according to the posted arguments above (which I have caps of) a fetish hood is automatically adult no matter what...but whatever... can't go against an admin...oh and also ever since my argument above my questions have ALL went unanswered, either I'm being ignored or this matter is waiting head-admin clarification (the latter of which doesn't seem likely since moderations in this matter are still ongoing, proven by YaH)

just in case anyone actually reads this... the one piece that was approved is JUST a picture of a hood custom-made specifically to user specs (not a "stock" hood) which comes back to... by you / for you, AND NOT BEING WORN IN PICTURE is apparently the standard of "allowable" photographs of gear... and i have opened up a good two way dialog with a member of staff as well, most of my questions are being answered...
