*only 11 days away. Ensure you let me know either through notes or comments if you plan on attending. Read entire post for information. It will be updated so check back every once and a while.
So what came as a simple idea has evolved a little. Here's what we have been thinking;
It's been so nice out. Instead of everyone trying to crowd inside, we're thinking that people bring their tents and set them up on the property. I have 1.5 acres, and plenty of shaded space. So I'm thinking we're gonna pitch a few tents *giggidity* >.<
There has been quite a bit of interest. Depending on the numbers ect, Will determine food ect. It's gonna be BYOB (Bring Your Own Booze). *Just thought about the idea of a communal bar. Those who buy a bottle to share are free to mix drinks with the others. For example, some people buy Vodka and a Mix (Cran), Others by Gin, Rum, Rye ect. See if we can't organize this. Rather be forced to have one set of booze, we can mix many different drinks. It would be a good idea to bring your own private stock as well ;)
For those attending it will be a good idea to bring your own towel's and sleeping accessories. i.e. Blanket, Pillow, Air mattress if you have one, also a tent if you own one.
People coming from Toronto/Ottawa use the comments section to figure out ride shares ect. It will be cheaper and much more fun. Bugging Kesslan from Ottawa to Kingston is always fun :3 I have space for 6 Vehicles so see what you can do in regards to ride sharing.
We bought a sprinkler, bring water cannons, pistols ect.
We have a fire pit. So bring a portable folding chair. I have a few chairs already set up out there.
For those gamers out there, go ahead and bring controllers ect. I have the following systems; Wii, PS3, XBOX 360. We're also thinking of setting up a television in the garage with some old skool systems. If you have any feel free to bring it and challenge the others to some retro fun.
Bugspray is a fantastic thing to bring. Mosquitos are terrible around here. Also we'll be doing walks up and down the Cataraquai Trail.
Possible Sharbot Lake outing.
If you have guitars, go ahead and bring em. I have an acoustic here, and an electric. A bass, synth, and violin. So if you're a player feel free to use em.
Those who know us know that we are quite liberal. However being its open to locals we ask that the fetish stuff stay in the bedroom. In order to make everyone feel comfortable. Drink responsibly. Those leaving in cars will be checked prior for sobriety.
Everything starts on Friday the 17th. Everything ends on Sunday afternoon, early evening. I'll have to kick everyone out then. >:3
So yeah. That's pretty much it in a nutshell.
I'll update a list of those confirmed ect. Just let me know through the comments section.
