Shadowpelt's Commission Terms and Policies, Important Information, and Additional Fees
- Please note, no matter what it be, inks, digital, traditional. What ever, I ALWAYS charge an extra $5 for adult material. I run the risk of being caught and getting into a ton of trouble when I do these images and it takes a lot of effort to hide it. I live with my dad and I often find myself around small children, so please.
- Depending on both the content of your commission and the characters you'd like me to draw, I have the right to raise or lower my price to fit the image. If you'd like me to draw your white wolf sitting on a snow bank, it will cost less than a 10 winged dragon flying through a thunder storm.
- If you'd like to receive your commissioned piece in person, it costs an additional fee. $6 for the original and $2 for a high quality copy. Note this does not include badges or key chains.
- Often I work out of order when it comes to my commissions. I like to draw each piece when I am most inspired to do so. This insures that both I am happy and free to work when I feel my best, and insures that you will receive a well done piece. If I am depressed, anxious, or stressed, it will show in my art.
- If you'd like your commission done by a certain time (i.e. before Christmas, before a birthday) and I must rush to meet your deadline, I will charge an extra fee depending on both the time limit and the content.
- Unless stated otherwise, I take at least a month to finish or start a commission. Sometimes it takes me less than a week, other times a month or two. Of you's like your art done in a certain amount of time, please read the above note on rush fees.
- For some reason, if you need to cancel your commission, please let me know instantly. Lets say I show you a sketch and you okay it, but then, the next day you decide you want to cancel your commission or you'd like to change it to something else, you no matter what, must pay for the sketch I showed you. I don't care if suddenly you wanted to go to someone else for the picture or you just don't want it anymore. This is not my problem. I supplied you with a piece of art and I expect you to pay for it.
- If you ask me to show you a sketch before inking, that is fine. BUT, if you'd like me to change some things for you, you must point out EVERYTHING you want me to change and give me precise details on how to change them. If I send your sketch back and for some reason you find more items you'd like me to change, I will charge an additional $2-5 fee depending on the complexity of the change.
Payment Options and Shipping Rules
- I accept paypal, money orders, checks, and cash. I also take Starbucks and McDonald's gift cards and Fairly OddParents merch!
- All my prices are in U.S. dollars. If you are payong for a commission outside of the U.S., please take into account the shift in prices.
- I ship anywhere in the world. The price of shipping varies depending on your location.
- I charge $2 for shipping in the U.S. This includes badges, key chains, and small images. $4 for larger images
- On average, lamination is free, unless stated otherwise.
Refunds
- I DO NOT offer a full refund AFTER you've approved of the simple sketch, WIP, inks etc. You have every right to ask to have your commission canceled and/or your money refunded. If you however ask to view a sketch and you decide to cancel you commission after you've okayed your WIP, you must pay for the art I have sent you.
-If you wish to receive a refund please be sure to request it BEFORE I've gotten as far as to finish it (after a WIP). If you okay the WIP and tell me to continue, there is nothing I can do about a mistake you failed to notice or something you did not care for. Cause not much I can do after inking and coloring a picture.
- After finishing, I DO NOT offer a refund of any sort. Unless discussed privately and we both find a probable cause for a refund. Such as I colored you orange rather than blue.

- How should I contact you?:
Like I said above, note me!!! Please it's okay if you comment on my journals and stuff, but I have a lot of comments by the end of the day and I have difficulty getting back to them all. But I will check my notes every and each day no matter what! So you want to buy some of my art? Or you want to do a trade? Note me :3
- How should I go about commissioning you?:
Well first of all contact me either through note or email! Next, give me a list of references or a detailed description. After that let me know what you'd like! Give a good description. I hate it when people tell me to draw their character/fursona and just expect me to know what they want. Give me a good description or links. Links are your friend!
- Do I pay you now or later?:
Please pay first. I'm pretty ok with just doing your art before the payment, but I have had a lot of payment fall outs. By now I have learned it's better to take the payment first. Still, if you're not okay with this, we can work things out. Something like half up front and half at the end can be an option.
- How long does it normally take you to finish art?
It really depends. Be patient please! I do take a while to do some art. I know I do, but it will get done! Often if I take a long time I add something extra or spend all day on your art to ensure it's as good as I can possibly do. Though I try to do that with all my art.
- Mind if I ask for updates?:
Sure I'd be glad to give you updates! But please don't be a pest. Every time you ask "Where's my picture?" I get less inspired to draw for you. Be nice people. Please! The nicer you are the faster I do this shiz.
- What do you spend your money on?:
Wonder what I do with my money? Majority of my money goes towards things like food, gas, clothes, and art supplies. Sometimes I will splurge and buy some art, but this is kept to a minimum.

When you say receive your commissioned piece in person do you mean mailing them the art as opposed to uploading the scan? Otherwise it reads like you'd charge them to hand them the art at a con or something which would be like, weird xD
