Has anyone here ever had an offer made to them that sounded really good at first...but then seemed later like there's no reason at all why that offer should've been made to you? Has the thought of accepting such an offer left you with a hollow feeling of being...well, dirty?

I sort of know the feeling? I had someone recently make an offer on my behalf to another, and the other accepted it...and I had no say. That left me feeling a little off because while it was nice of the person do what they did...I didn't really feel I deserved it. All I can say is when you get an offer, take it, and then realize later on that you don't quite feel right with it than use it as a learning experience if you can.
