Well, we could use a new one. That one Alpha made isn't bad, but it's kind of hard to make out any kind of Windows Logo on it.

Keep the window's theme, but put a paw over it? Meh, the 360 guys did it, so why not? Though I recommend just making the current logo the main pad and adding the toes around it instead, much cleaner and more stylish. =)

The one made by Alpha is okay but looks like some more effort could have been used. A contest of some sort would be nice, because we'll get to see more of a variety and people will have fun drawing their ideas, regardless if there is a reward or not for the winner. That is what I think should be done for a new icon anyway :)

Ya can still see a bit tho. Yea did that on purpose to put empasis on the win logo, plus people said it was more important.

Could just update the icon to something more colorful too, like the Windows 7 version.

The point of this is not to say that ya don't like people's work or whatever. It's to get feedback so i can make an icon that people actually like.

I listened to everyone's comments and got a lot of likes with the new ones, so what don't ya like about em? =| Hearing what ya don't like will leme make one that everyone likes.

The journal asked whether to change or not and I like the one now in use. I rather have it plain and straight forward. Want to make one that I'd recommend changing, then just do the windows logo with a solid black paw or a glossy embossed paw containing the windows logo. I really don't think there's anything wrong with the plain windows logo currently used and just because it's a furry doesn't require the group logo have furry elements. I think everyone appreciates your effort, but making new icons doesn't mean I or anyone else has to want it to be the new one for the group. #3 is the only one I like and I don't care for the bullseye effect for the windows logo. Especially in a case like a small logo, simple is better. PC is windows and a simple and clean windows logo best conveys that. Perhaps a paw with the windows logo in the main pad, raised and glossy, with a transparent background.

I like jaxrabbit's suggestion, or maybe a clean 'cutout' of the Win7 start button itself - otherwise leave it alone or it'll look tacky and no one will display it on their page. >_>
