You cannot help everyone. Some people just need to grow up and fend for themselves, and some people need more help than you can humanly give right now.

Everyone getting along and acting like adults only happens in stories. Stop expecting it and you'll stop getting disappointed.

Learn to love the phrase "It's not my problem" and the word "No".




That being said, go right back to disregarding yourself and go find all the information for shelters and financial assistance for the people that need it. Because this blinding migraine and the other medical ailments that are notoriously stress related absolutely do NOT mean you are far too invested even though you're "just doing research".
