Know thyself.
Sorry scalies, birdies and other not-quite-mammal stuffs, this is a mammal-only party. Though you may find a mention of your favorite class, a few orders and families here.

Deal with it.
fuzzy and loveable ^_^
This is a nice reference to have. I didn't realize primates took up that big a of a chunk of the pie, so to speak.
Apparently, this is a complete list of ALL mammal species. Not sure how many extinct species are included, I've only found Megaceros and several rat-like mammals from Afrosoricida.
Yes, it means "we" have been placed in one clade with whales and dolphins. Cool, huh? :]
It's a good union though
(We still need bats for superiority in air... maybe we can persuade them by letting suck on some artery once in a while.)
Apparently the divergence between Artiodactyla and Cetacea is pretty recent.
Their evolution is pretty awesome.
Also it gets weirder - both (Artiodactyla and Cetacea) are closely related to an order of... believe it or not... Carnivorous Ungulates. "Rawr! Flesh eating deer is out to get you!"
<Pours some water>
Though I'm not really the flowering kind, I'm more of the "omnoms on bugs" kind ;D
This would have been such a fun thing to learn in elementary school.
Reptiles keep on and on!
I think it'd be awesome.
