Well, the lease for this apartment ends on December 31st, and everything is up in the air. I fly back down to Florida for my family on the 20th, so everyone is scrambling to get things done up here in Kansas City.

But ultimately, it is worth it. The house is a lovely duplex, with the nicest landlord I've ever had to deal with. In fact, I and my roommates call him our "land friend."

I've been trying to catch up on thursday prompts, in the midst of all this, as well as appeasing all the Lion King fans on the TLK-L with a very silly Christmas special... Which I will post after this journal... Unless the Wi-Fi dies out.

On a side note, still looking for work, but there's some good signs showing right about now. Here's hoping someone calls back for an interview! Then I can blow my first paycheck on Snowtires, or something else mundane, but necessary... Like food. ;)

How does a man survive so well without a job? It's called, don't spend any money, even when you have it! Har har!
