Yesterday I finally received my refurbished Wacom Bamboo FUN tablet. They say to expect a slightly worn nib and a few scratches or marks as it is refurbished, but mine had NONE! I am so happy about that.
I've easily adapted to the whole "look straight at the screen" thing. I did a whole herpaderp looking icon set, which I may post, but they're pretty crappy quality. I cant get the line thin enough to make a nice icon.
Today though, I started a pool themed drawing, as the fact my summer is almost over is starting to get to me. IT'S SO GREAT SO FAR and thats not me trying to be self-inflated. I just mean drawing with it feels fantastic, the brushes and blenders are great, there's a mixer (which is what I've always wanted my other drawing programs to have), and I just love it. I've been drawing with the Corel Painter Essentials 4 that came with the tablet.
Oh, and I've named him Quentin.
Yes, I name my favorite inanimate objects.
