Genuinely upset, distraught

A dear friend of mine has blocked me.
Whilst you may think "big deal, another arsehole, move on", I'm deeply upset because I knew him well and we were both friends. I don't think I did anything to provoke this, and this worries me, because it may be that I'm annoying other IM friends of mine, and I just don't know. If you're one of my friends and I'm annoying you, please tell me I'd rather be understanding than heartbroken, because IM friends are all I have for communication, and before you troll, I'm not going to respond (to trolling).

...then I don't know the case. I remember once I had an old friend who ditched me for no reason.
