Sure, it's a sex filled, crime themed novel. But heck, it has a way to draw you in.
There's few stories i can actually loose myself in, drift off and not noticing i've lost track of the words long ago, reading just by instinct and imagining the world around me with every expecting new sentence.
That's how Maranatha is, it's like diving into a high-definition plasma tv, from watching those old time crt's.
Warning, it's sexually explicit, to to point of being sickening. Think about a cake, and me as a young kit. You'd love to come over and lick the frosting off... and once i do, i'll love it. But when you stuff 20 pounds of frosting down my throat in 20 chapters, you just want to throw up. That's Maranatha.Maranatha isn't about the yiff, it's all about the characters, The characters, being layed out like i've haven't read (I don't vary my genres much). Baddass sexy Malloy, of the bitchslut rapid-thinking, misery loving Owen. God, I love Owen.
Well done Osfer. I don't have a way to words, but i recommending this reading to everyone out there. It's nothing like out of position, nothing like Kyell, hirosaki or any other mainstream authors i've read.
