We have added more rooms to the hotel block, but the hotel is rapidly
running out of rooms. And, when they're gone, they're gone, so if you

Furry Weekend Atlanta 2008 is shaping up to be another huge year. The
pre-registration deadline is rapidly approaching - now is the time to
get those memberships in!
You can pre-register for an Attending Level membership for $35.00, a
Sponsoring Level membership for $90.00 and our top of the line God Level
membership for $160.00. Additionally, this year we will be offering a
special Fifth Anniversary Membership to celebrate five years of Furry
Weekend Atlanta. This membership is available for pre-registered
attendees only and is limited in number, and in addition to receiving
all the benefits of all the levels membership levels, Fifth Anniversary
Members will receive a special, one of a kind and extremely nice gift.

PROGRAMMING SPOTLIGHT: POKER TOURNAMENT
Once again, Furry Weekend Atlanta will be hosting our annual Poker
Tournament at the convention. Think you can best our chairman in a game
of luck and skill? Then come try your paw at our Poker Tournament,
Saturday Night at 10:00pm.
The poker tournament is a no-limit Texas Hold 'em game consisting of a
number of rounds, with an eventual winner. In the past the winner of the
Poker Tournament has won a God-Level Membership to the next years'
convention. And best of all, all proceeds go to our charity,
Conservators' Center International.
Don't know how to play? Then come to our one-hour crash course on the
rules to playing No Limit Texas Hold 'Em Poker the same day at 1:30pm.
Learn how to play and participate in the charity tournament on Saturday
night!

PROGRAMMING SPOTLIGHT: EXTREME FURSUIT MAKEOVER!
Much like the television show the name is derived from, one person will
be selected from a group of applicants to have the makeover of their
lives... except instead of making over the contestant, Growly, Joecifur,
and Kiwihunter will be making over their fursuit!
Personal comfort will be addressed in the suit's revamp, as well as
cosmetic alterations. The fursuit makeover will be done in front of a
live audience at Furry Weekend Atlanta 2008, and the remade suit will go
home with its owner.

VARIETY SHOW
Once again, the show will go on as FWA puts on it's Third Annual Furry
Variety Show. While we certainly encourage fursuiter and puppetry acts,
any kind of furry related PG-13 or cleaner act will be welcomed into the
show.
So if you've ever wanted a chance to get up in front of a crowd and
perform, this may be a great opportunity! More information can be found

ART SHOW NOW ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS
The Art Show is now accepting submissions. The Art Show features an area
for general artwork as well as a separate area for mature artwork not
viewable by minors. Artwork is sold by written bid, with pieces
receiving five or more bids automatically going to voice auction. The
auction will take place on the Sunday of the convention, February 17,
2008. Even if you cannot attend the con, we will still accept your
mailed-in submissions. The deadline for submissions for the Furry
Weekend Atlanta 2008 Art Show will be February 1st, 2008. Any pieces
being mailed must be received by February 8th, 2008. For more

DEALERS DEN FULL!
Furry Weekend Atlanta's Dealers' Den is now full! But, we may have a few
spaces come available before the convention. That's why it's a good
idea, if you're still interested in getting a table, to get on the
waiting list!
Prices on tables are $80 per table. The full-table price includes one
Attending-level membership to the convention. Only one free membership
will be given for each dealer registration. You may sub-divide your

We owe a lot of thanks to our past volunteers (without them we'd have to
