At first I had my reservations about the show, but after watching the premiere last night I think I'll need to make time on Friday Nights to watch it. It's a bit different than the original: they dropped the superman-esque origin story in favor of Thunder Cats taking place in a more medieval fantasy meets technology setting rather than a post apocalyptic setting, Lion-o and Tygra are brother with Lion-O being interested in technology and being overall more level headed than Tygra, Snarf doesn't talk ect. The animation is top notch and the action is exciting. The story so far is enjoyable and well written. I high recommend watching this show.
