When you love someone...

...you can't just take it back.
I don't care how young you are, what the circumstances of the relationship are, nothing. Maybe you weren't in a good state of mind, maybe you got carried away, I don't know, I don't care.
I can only fathom how much it must hurt to be told by the person you care about more than anyone in the world, the one that said they loved you, that they wanted to spend their life with you, that they want to get married and have kids, that swears they will never leave you...To be told by that person that they never loved you at all?
If you don't love them anymore, fine. Maybe you later find out that it wasn't actually love. Something. Fine, whatever.
But you can't say you never felt anything for them in the first place.
Regardless of the circumstances of the present, what you felt was something, and it was real, and you can't just take it back.

People can do the craziest things to each other..
People get hurt when they love someone. Unfortunately, it's something that happens...Even if it's as simple as someone saying something that they maybe shouldn't have said and it affects them more just because of who it was coming from...
I'm sorry for your hurts, and I wish you the best. I'm sure you'll find someone that feels that way for you and makes it their goal to not hurt you.

I admit it though, I have an ulterior purpose. I want to make someone who sounds depressed smile! :D

If you don't mind my asking, what prompted this?
No one should have to hear that the person they thought loved them didn't. Whether they believe it or not, hearing it still hurts. It starts a lot of nonsense in the head and heart that just...hurts.
Friends of mine. Their relationship just ended and...One thing that was said in particular kinda stuck with me.
And it'll take time, of course, but they'll be fine too.
