Chapter 1

As I look from my perch on the tower I just hope that no one, or thing, looks up. Everything has this red hue to it that for the life of me, I will never get used to. As I approach the window I can clearly hear the rushed speech of an argument. They won’t argue for much longer. The stone supporting me moves and threatens to fall. Must finish this quick.
As I throw smoke orbs into the room I also throw a quick bind that hit’s the door. That should give me the time to finish this without interruption. Shit. Stupid. How could I forget about the wards on the window!
Pulling out a dagger to throw into the room, I quickly attach an explosion orb to attach to it. Throwing the knife into the room there is banging on the door. As the door splinters, the rock gives out. It would appear as though there will be a few less towers, and guards, in this place.
The tower blows and shots rock and debris everywhere. Hitting the ground hard I sprint out of there prepared to fight. Luckily there won’t be any fighting because the whole place is in flames. Good thing I used a class b bomb.
