Trip to, heave and ho; Up, down, to and fro- You have no word
Okay, I have a PO box, and the postman really screwed me over the first month of having it. Not only did they fail to tell me I could only use one name for receiving mail, but they also gave me the wrong zip code to use. What the hail? D: How does the post give you the wrong zipcode.
Anyway. I'm praying I actually receive some mail this coming week. If not i'm going to raise utter hell (AGAIN). I haven't ever had this many problems with the post office, dude. No wonder they are suffering. Nobody wants to deal with losing mail and dealing with their crap. I should just send myself a letter and see if it ever shows up. :/
Anyway, I thought i'd update a little bit on my life, since it's been a little while since my last journal.
I've been trying to work on my trades and commissions. Know that I haven't forgotten any! In the past two weeks i've only had one day to actually just sit and get things done, and so i'd put paid commissions as my priority on that day. My next actual day off is coming up so hopefully i'll be able to get everything else finished then.
Jellyhounds. We all love 'em. Cuddly little monsters.
Now they have their own account. This will come in handy when I come up with adoptables. It will be a page for fans of jellyhounds as well as for people with jellyhound characters. I want to make them a well-known species! Go on and give that account a watch if you'd like.

Hehe, I just thought it'd be a bit fun to try. I will probably upload my jellyhound art to there as well. It's sort of a test to see how many fans of the species are out there or that soon will be. :)

I've been... Working hard I guess. I don't mind my hours at work but it leaves very little time to do anything for myself. I work the weekends too so I can't really just go out and chill anymore. Other than that, I can't complain. Life has been treating me pretty well.

PETS. Well, i'm a cat person so I have a better understanding of kitties. I used to have 3 cats but now there's only one, the other two died a fw years back from circumstances I couldn't control, and the one left is actually the mother of the ones that died. Her name is Nala, and she's a Shorthair Tabby, I think. She's about 17/18 and i've had her since she was just a kitten. C:
I also have a dog, named Toby. We rescued him from a pound in 2001, and he's been with us since. On the cage it said he was a "German shepherd mix" but in looking through some AKC books I discovered a breed that looks identical to him, so now we're thinking he's either purebred or a mix of a rare breed; the Tervuren Belgian Sheepdog.
Jury duty?!?! -GASP- Sometimes you get lucky, if you keep checking back on the website and calling. Sometimes you get drawn for duty but don't have to show up. I hope that's the case for you and if not, then I hope you get an interesting case. ;;

That sucks about your mailing stuff, never had a problem with that kind of thing. Sounds stressful. I'd go raging to the post office and demand things. DEMAND FREE STAMPS!! D:< Psssh~ I would. :D But anyways, questions...oh! I'm trying out plush making, wanted to ask for permission to make your character and a jellyhound. I've been practicing a little. Might take a class for something similar to this.

Haha, I wish I had the guts. I'm too meek, unfortunately. My 'raising hell' last time was filled with "Um"s and questions rather than voice raising and tantrums.
Hmmm.. I don't see why i'td be a problem, as long as credit is given to my characters. That would actually be really cool to see. Good luck in the plush making. :)

And of course they would be credited and would be sent to you after I'm finished. Once my skills improve, all my threading is by hand, I don't have a sewing machine. Which makes things harder. What color would you like the jellyhound to be? So I can practice. It may take a bit till my confidence raises to fully construct.

I actually don't like sewing machines very much. ;; I mean, it's wonderful when you have a big project to sew, because it's faster and sometimes more efficient, but at the same time, you probably can't get as detailed with a machine and a project might lack character given by the artist's hand. The one plush I did make I was so angry with because it took forever and I was sick of sewing, but in the end I actually quite liked how it turned out. :3
I'd be honoured to be your guinea pig then. :) Jellyhound can be any colour but neons (Like.. no highlighter colours I guess. xD), go ahead and have fun with it. You can use the coloured images i've got as references or just make one up. But I know you can do it! <3

It is true. And I'm gonna work my butt off to get the plush as much as perfect to how you drew them. Was thinking even using those beans in some stuffed animals so it'd give them a bit of weight. But I'll do my best.

1. I can't be positive, but since this journal was posted, iv'e recieved all the mail that I should be. Maybe the postmaster is a furry and read this an' realized he has to up his game. xD
2. Sweeeeet! In the next few weeks i'm going to get some adoptables ready, so people can have a chance to get their own JH. In the future I may hold raffles and stuff for people who can't pay to get 'em. In the meantime i'll just post up lots of art of them. :D
3. I hope so too.. i'm so distraught worrying about the little thing, but on the other hand i know for a fact he would have died that night had I not saved him. So I dunno.. I'm just glad I could help. <3

1. Yeah. I'm less worried about it now. I think the mail taking so long might have been a combination of things, including the PO box being new maybe. but yeah.. the first letter took half a month to get to me from the same state, which is why I panicked. xD
2. Yeah, I want to be fair. I think the exclusive adoptable thing will be good because then I can keep track of who has a JH and also earn a little commission out of it, but at the same time i'd also like to give people a chance who don't have fundage. C: And yes, I do have paypal!
