Money in, Money out
So today was the second in two days I had to travel into Boston for part of a Medical study that I'm getting paid to partake in. $50 is the money I received for wearing a 24hr Blood pressure Monitor Yesterday and today.
Well, soon as that $50 came into my hand, it soon left. Not on anything stupid mind you, a useful two purchases (Though thinking back, could have easily probably spent less money by buying food at a McD's or something instead of the Subway I got). I needed new shoes, and that was a priority. I knew the boots I wanted 9Hiking boots) were $39.95, but seeing that money come into my hand then then leave it almost as easily... it's a little discontenting.
I dunno. Just more minor money woes. Having new shoes is nice, and hopefully these will last the next two years like my old ones did. Also still might use a little extra money, but this means I'll have to ask my mom for more money she can't really give away so I can at least be social :/
Four weeks till I return to Maine (Hopefully, cross your fingers for that last loan to go through!). Gotta call or message the roommate about what to bring for college, and figure out how to pack a single car with what I need, seeing as my own car's electrical system is gone. Will be attending the meet at Kimball this weekend, and possibly the Cambridge 99 Meet the weekend after, pending access of money. After that I'm in Maine and pretty much non-social outside the Internets, but I might still pop into Mass or even NH for some stuff.
Also, as far as the Books go, so far "Wizard of Earthsea" has been the one to win, so that's my next book if no more votes come in by the end of the week (See previous Journal). Still looking into possible new books to buy though. I want something where Werewolves are the central figure, either as a protagonist or antagonist. Non Romance. Found a few story collections, but nothing of a single story.
Anyway, all for now.
