If you've been checking my twitter feed most of y'all will know I'm not doing so hot lately. This flu or stomach bug has landed me in the ER once due to dehydration and has kept me out of work pretty much all week long. It all started last Sunday when I started getting chills and a low grade fever with nausea and no appetite. I decided to take Monday off and thinking it was just a cold it'll wear off with rest. I went back to work Tuesday and for most of the morning I flat pretty good even ate a small lunch. But around three a big bout of nausea hit and really felt like the room was spinning. I took off early and went to the outpaient clinic and before I could get inside I was headingnto the restroom throwing up. After a check the doc thought I might have a appendicitis but I needed to go to the ER for a cat scan to rule it out. After several hours waiting in the ER the Docs said my appendix looks normal and it's probably caused by this flu like bug going around with the hot weather and dehydration. I took two days off and tried coming back to work Friday but after lunch didn't sit with me well again I'm staying home till I get over this crud. Im planning on going to see my regular doctor Monday if this hadn't cleared up.

You make the right decision to take it seriously. Something that looks so little can become quite troublesome later if you dont take care of it.
I find myself lucky to not catch any bug or decease while screening these hundreds of passengers everyday. I make sure to take my supplements everyday too. The sleep might be lacking, though. Talking of the beast... I should be sleeping by now. ^'===='^;;
Take care.
I miss you, hon. Please take good care of yourself. :(

Last time I had those symptoms bad, I needed to see my regular doctor and get antibiotic, which worked. It appeared to be a more or less common intestinal bacteria, like salmonella.
Time before, it was allergic response to what I know to stay away from, especially in combination - onions and caffeine. I was heaving up bile at the end, I couldn't stop puking.
One dose of Perigoric(™) and I was symptom-free, able to finally sleep. Calmed my digestive upheaval down just like that. Wonder drug if there ever was one. It was prescribed to my mom, but now off the market. It contains opium, you see. A substance that actually has remarkably therapeutic applications, but because of narcotic abuses is just not allowed. Addicts make things difficult for legitimate medicine. Just like medicinal marijuana is fighting very tough opposition these days.
Take whatever legal remedy you can, and if it doesn't work well - eat an addict.
Antibiotics must always be finished once started. Read and obey your medicine instructions!
Thus concludes this PSA from the scaly health board.
