It was my father's birthday and as it would turn out also the opening of the Battle of the Bulge.
Because of the reaction to the other WW2 pics I posted I was planning to post more. These are from about the time period of The Bulge. I was tickled when Ken Burn's The War came out and his photos from the fight looked just like my dad's.
