Yeah that was a cool video. The beluga really seemed to be paying close attention to the mariachi band!

I love how at 0:07 he or she's bopping his or her head up and down and then so beautifully and gracefully moves toward the violin player... you could almost feel his or her interest and possibly joy at the attention. And then you have to wonder what kind of thoughts are going through such an intricate and alien mind... they don't know what to make of people in Mexican cultured outfits using a bunch of instruments to make melodic sounds. Might sound totally different to a beluga... but he or she did seem to enjoy it. ^_^

I had a goofy grin the whole time I was watching it for the first time. It's just so cute. I want to serenade a majestic beluga. XD

I started my love for mariachi music back in like 1996 or something. I had a bunch of freeware games on my computer... and one was this poker game. Every time you got a good hand, like a three of a kind, flush, straight, full house... etc, the game would play a little tune. The tune for a full house was part of Mexican Shuffle by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. My dad called it Tijuana Taxi though. We went to Blockbuster Music one day and they let you listen to CDs before you bought them, so I listened to Herb Alpert's Greatest Hits and Tijuana Taxi was on there. I was disappointed because it wasn't the right song. I kept listening to other songs though and luckily Mexican Shuffle was on that same CD, and I was happy. I bought it... first one I'd ever bought... and fell in love with most of the mariachi music on there. ^^ I still have that CD. Oh, the memories.

Hehe ^^ I'm weird when it comes to music. As long as it's a band I don't already hate, I usually ask people to randomly tell me a band/album to buy. I may look into this album :3
