The gate i designed the parts for (see http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2405824/) suffered a vehicle impact the other night. The adapter worked exactly as it was designed to and it reduced damage to the axle and transmission.

I'm very proud of it, It was most likely accidental, the gates close after every vehicle and people don't pay attention when the gate closes right in front of them and they run right into it.
