Wacom Pen and touch tablet help. >:U

Okay so, i have the wacom pen and touch tablet.
Sometimes when im using it, or when i plug it up it gets stuck on finger touch only. I would have to unplug it for hoursor even a day just to get it to switch back...
Im not sure whats wrong with it, but anyone who has this problem or knows how to fix it, please let me know.
(it would be really appreciated)
