lol mostly because if u have enough time to pump out free art u dont wanna have to work hard on it especially when u dont really know what they look like
(most artists mind set) if they want u to try hard they gotta pay u

if its free it needs to be easy to make (most of the time xD i spend to much time on my free art cause i cant help but wanting to make it perfect)
i do it to usually but i make exceptions if ur character is easy to think up but if i do that they can complain about me getting it wrong cause its free :P
