That was... wow. I don't mean to over-analyze, but I want to try and understand the theme of the video, and the song by association.

*spoilers!*

He was with the sheep to have babies so he could eat them? And then when he found out the sheep had cheated on him, he was hurt, more hurt than he expected, and when the time came for his revenge... he couldn't do it. All that hate he had meant he loved the sheep, and he just lost all heart for revenge... and then altogether, when he saw the donkey.

Sorry. x3 I know it may sound silly to go over it like that, but... just making sure it wasn't just me who saw that. Because that would be a beautiful, if very tragic, theme.

well the band actually picked the video so it's not like a unofficial vid or anything, and not quite sure at first i thought it was everyone saw the guy as the bad one even though it was the gal all along but never understood the meaning of the vid. the lyrics actually ring true a lot i guess. but your explanation is actually as heartfelt as the song ^^
