Okay so! Day 5 into living in Atlanta...Most of the settling in is behind me, thank god. I really have had no time to stop and take a break until now. I'll give everyone a little refresher since I havent had time for updates.
Friday me and
caustickeet got up at the crack of dawn and got a moving van, loaded all of our shit up into it and took off around 1pm to go to atlanta. It was slow going and by the end of the day I dont think I have ever been that exausted in my entire life. X-x However, since we live in the middle of India-Town in Decatur, we went out that night for ...INDIAN CHINESE FOOD. Best shit ever, even if its weird. Spent the rest of the night with booze, an SNES emulator hooked up to a TV and two pillows on the living room floor.
Saturday, we had the rest of the truck unloaded, then Comcast came and hooked us up with internets. We took the truck back and scouted the area for a while before I had to head back to Huntsville...spent the night over there and then returned on Sunday evening with my kitty cat. Nyx likes the new place, thankfully. :3
So after that my first day at my new job was on Monday. Its good but it makes for a long day, and its very busy. But thats good, since I was laid off at my last job for lack of work...Lots of work = job security x-x I've had a fun time the first part of this week getting settled in and learning the area. I've visited some cool places and have yet to really see much of the town but I'll get there!
So far, I really love it here. I feel comfortable and even excited for the first time in a while. Now that things are starting to slow down a little, I have to make time for some fun and some new friends, hopefully. So any furs in the area, we should chill B3!
As for personal art and commissions, I'm back into a groove where I should be able to take them again, thank goodness. The good thing is I'm starting to feel like I want to draw, which is great since I've been blocked ever since I started moving out of my apartment 4 weeks ago. X-x
anyway, so how is everyone else? Talk at me. Hopefully I didnt write this all out for nothing XD Someone come visit me in my new place! *flails*
