So here's what's been happening lately. I've been lazy as crap. I've tried to punch out art when I can get motivated, but work has been pushing me hard, so every time I get a day off, all I want to do is sit down and play games. I'm in the middle of making some cute ears for one girl and have at least two more commissions to do before I even think of doing anything for anyone else. Except myself, of course. It's hard for me to always ignore my own ideas in favor of what others want from me. That is also why I never really finish things when I start them for quite some time. Oh, and I usually give my money away. Like recently, I went on a trip to visit my folks, and then I adopted a new kitty. Between those things and bills, bills and more bills, I've been too poor to buy new supplies. And I could earn more money with commissions. But... I'm sure you see where I'm going with this.
So my fursuit has been put on hold until I get nice fur. I'm trying to get the mechanics of a new puppet out as we speak, but there's a good chance that I'll put that down for a while after this, too. My goal for the puppet is to have him done by October for a ren faire. He will be a ferret-dragon <3! I'm trying to make him one of those swivel-headed things, but we'll see. I got some parts for that and they aren't what I expected, so I might go with a spring and string rig. So that's that.
Otherwise, plotting my wedding stuff and hating every day that I have to go back to work for The Man.
