Lots going on in life right now, but not in a bad way. I'm working on coming into my own more, and with that comes a lot of changes and so forth. Follow the bolds and bullets; this is all important if you wish to continue following me and I broke it down as best as I could.

FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS: I AM MOVING ACCOUNTS
I have been debating on this quite some time, as I've grown rather proud and comfortable with the following I've developed here. However, I feel it's time for me to move on. I need a fresh start, and I want to do it with my new name and skills. I will be revealing my new account by the end of the week, so I have time to move everything I like over without flooding everyone's inboxes with crap they've already seen.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

*This account will not be terminated or deactivated in any way
*This account will house older art, and anything pertaining to Akiko.
*I may use this account still if for some reason I have Akiko-related things to post. This is not very likely, since while I do like drawing her she is not me or my fursona in any way.
*I will pop back on this account from time to time, but please try to avoid contacting me here once the new account goes up.
*I will make the new account and start working on it throughout this week, but I will not announce it until it is 'ready.' You are free to come watch me if you find me before then; I just want to avoid flooding your inboxes with stuff you have already seen.


And last but not least, I will not hold it against you if you do not follow me on my new account. I know some of you are not quite seeing eye to eye with me on my life and situation, and I would rather you just part ways with me here than bring any crap over to my new dwellings.

SECOND ORDER OF BUSINESS: My life
I have gotten lots of questions, mixed reactions, and general animosity towards my current situation. I am going to set the record straight right now.
(NONE OF THIS is directed towards any one person, as I have had the same situations and questions popping up with numerous people)
I am a female to male transgender. This means that I was born biologically female, but am male in every sense of my being and self perception.

WHAT THIS MEANS/GENERAL FAQ
* My name is Aki. I do not respond to Akiko, as she is a past character that does not represent me in any way shape or form. Aki is my personal character, fursona, and basically me all around.
* I identify and present myself as a heterosexual(straight) male, and expect to be treated as such.
* I am not a herm or cuntboy, and nor is Aki
* Me being transgender is not to be treated as a fetish or aspect of a character
* I am physically female at this point and time. This, however, does not make me any less of the man I present myself to be, and any treatment otherwise will not be tolerated.
* I currently bind my chest, and will be pursuing hormones and eventually surgery. This is not an overnight process, and pertains a large amount of money and emotional support.
* I do not possess any form of mental or physical illness that 'causes' me to be transgender
* I am in professional therapy to guide me through my transition and to assure that my choices and actions are sound and done in a safe and responsible manner.
*I am willing to answer any and all questions about my gender and orientation, so long as they are presented in a respectful and tasteful manner. I am also open to talk with other transgendered people, and you are more then welcome to approach me anytime.


As you can see, this is a big thing to tackle with many aspects to consider. Dealing with this takes up a good chunk of my time and life, and so I appreciate respect, support, and patience. Many other things in my life are on hold, however I will do my best to be around FA a lot. I am very attached to this community, and have met a lot of great people.

I will be around and active when the new account goes up, and I hope to see many familiar faces there.
