They should, as the two are (or ought to be) extremely distinct concepts.
But sadly, those that make the distinction know exactly why they make it. In the larger community, they are interchangable, though herms, when pressed to show the difference, will often be revealed to be not as advertised.
Yes there is a distinction, a shemale is a male to female trans (or pretty much a guy with tits, or a girl with a dick), a herm is both genders at once, having both sets of genitalia.
Or something like that, but there is a distinction. :V
Just forwarding you to my friend from Second Life Myrilla - Just see the User Page info of Myrilla's. It should be enough... I'm not professional enough to say, being 100% female all the time.
I dont think a lot of artists do... I see ppl saying that theyre drawing "Herms" and they are "shemales" not herms. I wonder whats started the big trend of drawing them. A couple years ago I only saw the rare pic but not it seams everyones drawing them. It's getting harder and harder to find strait stuff anymore.
Are you calling herms "straight" or am I missing something? I would think having the features of both genders would make herms/shemales/whatever unfit for both the "straight" and "gay" classifications.
I'm not calling them "strait" as thats kind of a null point since they have both sexes. Simply stating that a lot of artists are mislableing there shemails as herms. Herm have a pussy and a cock n balls pluss boobs and a shemale has boobs and a cock with no pussy.
But sadly, those that make the distinction know exactly why they make it. In the larger community, they are interchangable, though herms, when pressed to show the difference, will often be revealed to be not as advertised.
a herm has both sets
