lol, I ran into a similar situation actually! I was drawing a gift for a friend when my art program crashed. I thought this was no biggie, but when I tried to re-open the save file (because I'm OCD about saving and thus did save :P), I found out the save file was corrupted! Ended up doing the same as you and speeding through it back to where I was. I guess once you've drawn something once, it's not so hard to do the exact same thing again XD
