A Brief Update

Well, to let you all know that I'm still alive, I dug up an old, half-finished meme and filled it out for my Star Wars mercenary, Jace Taer.
Sorry if some answers are a bit short, but I'm still in the process of developing his story. I hope to have a few things up soon, though, to give you all a better idea of who he is.
You are placed, through involuntary means, in an environment that's completely new to you. You're unprepared and no one's helping. There isn't even a tour guide. What to do?
*smirk* So what else is new? Mercenaries don't generally find work in places they go all the time. Short-term: figure out the local sentiments and try to blend in. Long term: find a safe place to rest and re-supply, then figure out how the blazes I got to where I am. I’ve found that you can learn a lot by not talking and just being aware of your surroundings. Keeping an ear to the ground, so to speak. A little snooping never hurt anyone.
You've recently developed a crush on someone and it's strong, as in you have an urge to openly express your feelings. How do you approach this dilemma?
Unless someone else is already lucky enough to be with her, I’d tell her exactly how I felt. It might be sudden, but it’s better than sitting around hoping she’ll notice. I made that mistake once before. Waited for the “right moment” that never seemed to come, expecting her to break it off like every other girl I’d known, and suddenly, she was gone... I won’t make that mistake again.
Your rival, who may or may not be your arch enemy as well, has just beaten you in a competition, in front of everyone. What's your initial reaction?
Competition? The only thing I’m likely to compete in is a shooting contest, and there aren’t many people who can beat me on the firing range, but if someone can give me a run for my money, I welcome the challenge. In friendly competition, there’s always a winner and a loser. Losing just means you need to practice more. Losing to my arch-enemy, on the other hand, might warrant a less-civil response.
Someone who you previously thought of as a reliable friend has just betrayed you. Response?
Betrayal can mean a lot of things. If we’re talking about some off-hand comment they made about me, I’m likely to give them a glare and think twice about what I tell them. But if they turn a weapon on me, I’ll do what I have to… I wouldn’t kill them, at least not immediately, but I wouldn’t think twice about taking them out of the fight. Whether that means twisting their wrist or putting a bullet in their kneecap would probably depend on how long we had been friends. I’m very careful about who I trust, and who I associate with. Breaking my trust is just about the worst way any of my friends could hurt me, and I don’t take that lightly.
When asked what you think of the term "bravery" you answer...
Standing up for what you believe in. Being able to tell between what you are told is right and what you know in your heart is right. Even when the right path is hard, stand by what you believe in.
You have been asked to attend a very fancy occasion, like a dinner party or masquerade ball for those of rich status. Upon receiving the invitation you...
I’ll only attend a party if it benefits me to go. If I have an invitation, it means I’ve procured one, and I’m blending in. Balls and masquerade parties only remind me of the rich and powerful who all too often are either ignorant of or complicit in the suffering of those below their social status. At one sign of trouble, they scatter and leave the rest to fend for themselves. And when the dust settles, like magic they reappear to thump their chests and act brave to get re-elected or just to save face.
It’s amazing what you can pick up in casual conversation when they think you’re one of them.
You've found a wallet with a considerable amount of cash inside it. It has vague information on who the original owner was and no one's around to see you pick it up. What do you do?
I won’t take someone else’s hard work unless it’s a matter of life or death, and even then, what good will a handful of money do me? It sure hasn’t helped anyone I’ve seen try to cheat death. No, in those situations, it’s a friend that you need more than anything, and true friends are one thing money can’t buy.
I’d do my best to return the lost wallet. For someone who makes his living in the gray area between right and wrong, good and bad, I don’t imagine the owner would be too hard to track down. And in some cases, it’s good to have that favor in your back pocket for a rainy day.
Someone you don't know very well has come up and desperately asked to use one of your possessions for a bit, promising to be careful. What do you think?
Well, I don’t carry much on me in most situations. Just a decent amount of local currency, my sidearm and my scouting kit (notes, holograms, rangefinder, and the like). No one borrows my kit, and only two people…*chuckle* make that three people have ever ‘borrowed’ my sidearm. Two of those times were at my own insistence, the third time was my first face-to-face encounter with a Jedi. I’d been skeptical of The Force before that, but after…let’s just say I was mildly impressed.
Sure, if someone needs to borrow money, I might have a few credits or maybe some local currency, depending on how long I’ve been around, but I try not to lend money unless I’m willing to accept that it will not be returned.
What, overall, is your greatest fear? (Think this one over.)
Growing old with nothing but the faces I’ve seen in my crosshairs to keep me up at night.
What do you want more of?
Happiness. Not just from the smiles and thanks of those I help, but the happiness that only comes from knowing that someone who loves you is waiting for you when you come home.
Media and the press and a swarm of screaming fans has found you! Reaction?
Well, I don’t need any reporter recording what I say, and screaming fans are something I have yet to encounter. I help people who can’t help themselves, and they’re not usually much for fanfare. That’s fine; neither am I.
If by some coincidence the mob in front of me is in fact a mob of fans and not a riot demanding my head, I’d probably try to address them and explain that while I’m happy they appreciate whatever it is I did, I cannot be recognized, nor do I wish to be. If that doesn’t work, I’ve always been a pretty fast runner. Anywhere I can be pointed out on the street is a place I can’t afford to stay, no matter how much the people like me. Most places the people are genuinely eager to thank me are the places in the most dire of situations, and I won’t have a tyrant flatten a village because some kind family let me sleep in their shed.
What do you think of getting married and possibly raising a family?
…
If she would have me, I would take her hand in a heartbeat. With all the enemies I’ve made, I might never be able to rest easy at night, but for her, it would be worth it. And if I could raise a son to carry on my family name, then I would truly be content.
A renowned seer who's successfully told the future before has foretold your death. It will happen in one week. Uh oh...what do you do?
Leave the mercenary business, fly to Kahdza’iit and marry her. Spend the last few days I have in the pure happiness with the girl I love.
