Hi I'm Laine

And I hate coloring.
Seriously, why am I even coloring this. It's not a trade or anything I shoooould be working on. No, it's just a sketch that turned out nicely now I'm smearing it with color in the most terrible fashion. I really do suck at coloring, and shading, and inking. Anything that isn't done with a pencil scares me. I can shade with a pencil...but lord help me when it comes to everything else.
Also, what kind of pens do you use for inking? I use Staedtlers typically. I've been using a Pilot Razor Point, but the poppa got me new Staedtlers, so I'm switching over to those. My problem is I got some water color pencils and the ink runs when I get it wet, but I really want to start using them.
WHAT TO DO.
So, folks who use water colors, what do you do to avoid that?
Also also, (kinda like pps) http://www.pedlars.co.uk/page_1511.html
At first glance, I think it's cute, but then I think about it a little and realize it's actually fucking weird as hell.

I heard Art Rage is good and you can download it, so maybe I'll just ditch the traditional too! Better for the environment anyway.
Thanks for the tip, I've heard good things about Microns, I'll have to look into that.
No prob!
another person I know uses 'Zigs', she says they have less 'wiggle room' so the lineart is smoother.

if i still had the cd i got mine off of i'd send it to you.
i use prisma 005 markers and have used microns in the past. they dont bleed. usually with water color though, i lightly pencil>watercolor>ink.
