What do you guys listen to?
Lately I cannot stop listening to RX Bandits, I don't know how to describe them, but I love them, the vocals are so powerful, it's got some horns thrown in, real energy and strength.

And the vocalist's side project is pretty amazing too.

Before RX Bandit's super glued itself inside my CD player I couldn't get enough of Why? Don't even ask me to describe Why?
I'm pretty sure they're out of Minneapolis, they're pals with folks like Dose One and that whole Minneapolis hip hop scene, but they really aren't like the rest.
Fucking amazing, regardless.

And here are some of my favorite playlist mixes I've been listening to lately:
This one is all male vocalists, a little more on the acoustic side but with some other stuff thrown in. A lot of songs mentioning animals and age, which I didn't intend for but am pleased with the theme.

Mix of male and female, a little more electronic and odd, lots of indie non sense, freaking love this playlist, full of PURE JOY

And some of my favorite songs all tossed together willy nilly. My taste in music can be a bit on the grating side it seems.

Right now, I've been caught up on Stars. My roommate left it on my MP3 player and I can't get enough of the album.
Aside from that, I've been chewing down Basshunter and Scissor Sisters. But I might have to adopt these bands you've linked..
They're yummy.
i listen to classical and old folk because apparently i'm a 60 year old man trapped in a 27 yr old
