Unfortunately, other EA Games are pretty half-ass. I think EA more just produced it...it was a splinter team that actually developed it.

I'm planning on getting BF3, Skyrim, Halo Anni, and ME3. MW3 looks like it's making some interesting changes to its formula, but I'm not so sure it'll be different enough to warrant a purchase.

Uh, actually the only two EA games you mentioned were Mass Effect 3 and MW3. BF3 is being released by Activision and is in direct competition with Modern Warfare 3. Skyrim is being released by Bethesda, not EA and Halo as well as Gears are Microsoft products.

Uh, MW3 is being developed by Infinity Ward and produced by Activision, while BF3 is being produced by EA and developed by DICE. BF3 has no relation to Activison, partly one of the reasons there is WW3 between the two fanbases >.>

Skyrim's on the list. But somehow, i am a lucky one not having any bug-problems. Anyhow, i heard EA skips betatesting. so it is obvious, that the customer gets that phase of "developing" the Game :(

and then they never fix those bugs....

Depends on the publisher and the game... How do you want to fix "Skyrim"? thats close to impossible, as the mass of code just slays you. But on the other games, i really regret it, that there is no such a thing as a direct bug report/ -discussion, so that there are not only minor bug fixes, but needed repairs ...

MASS EFFECT 3 COMES OUT IN SIX MONTHS. I've already got the ultimate package paid for completely! All I need to do is walk in, show GameStop my card, and get it! I will be the first person to get it ever and I'm going to be so excited and I have posters all up in my room and I'M SO EXCITED OMG.

Also Skyrim comes out in two months. :3!

Skyrim I lurve you Bethesda and your awesome games that lure me into buying them only to constantly freeze and have other bugs.

Back when I was Pre-Alpha testing Dragon Age: Origins, they left a ton of major issues I had found in the game. Kinda makes me sad actually. Bioware was pretty fun to work with too, but showed the same enthusiasm as EA did. :/

ANYWAYS, I'm saving up for skyrim personally. I will REFUSE to buy a first person shooter until a few months they've been out so I can see reviews and the pro's/con's of each game.
I'm not taking a gamble this time and buying a game straight out from first day/week/month sales just because it's new.

EA's got some incredible games on their list, and some not so great. But I'm overall impressed by their major releases. As for games I'm getting I'll definitely be getting BF3 and MW3. Why? Because fuck the rules. Both games have their own amazing qualities and you'd have to be blind not to notice both. As far as Skyrim and Mass Effect go: HELL YES. I'm also a huge fan of both. Also don't forget Assassin's Creed Revelations! :D
