My best friends dog today.I loved this dog.He was big kind and derpy.I remember how he'd plop on the floor and lick your feet or place his big ol' head in your lap and look up at you.He was so lazy,but if you told him to do something he'd do it.I loved that dog more than I loved most people.I especially love Nate.He's my best friend.

It just seems unfair that he'd lose his dog to a tumor.He had to hold him as they injected him.His last breath in his arms.The saddest thing I've ever heard..

For awhile this dog was his only friend and now he's gone.

But Emua is more than just the dog's name.It's a word with meaning..
Emua in the hawaiian tongue means number 1.

I find this to be true..Emua was indeed number 1 and he always will be.Where ever dogs go when they die..I hope it's even more magnanimous than this right now.I hope where ever he is he isn't suffering like he did last night.

It's so easy to take pets for granted.Even people.It takes til we lose them to realize how special to us they TRUELY are.It's both heartbreaking and inspiring.I only wish I could've loved this dog more while he was still alive.I wish I could've given him that scraps of food he begged for.
