How many of the above mentioned are ACTUAL relationships... the kind where if one has a hard day at work, the other is there for them to rub their shoulders... run the tap for a nice hot bath together... or go out to a nice restruant on the water for a candlelit dinner and a few drinks?

I could tell someone I love them and all the lovey dovey bullcrap that occumpanies it... but I'd be lying to not only myself, but to whomever it were to fall for that trap.

Online relationships are, "I love you, but not enough to give up the things I have now" or "I love you, but don't have the motivation to put into action what it would take to bring us together" better yet, "I love you, until I can find something real and in the here and now."

It doesn't matter if you're gay or not, grats for never having to be out in the open together holding hands because you're thousands of miles away. Being in public eye so that the condescending biggots are out there can scrutanizing your 'lifestyle'. As far as I'm concerned, an online relationship ( which I also consider isn't a real one ) is just as secretive and in the closet, just that in this case, the closet is the internet.

How'd you find this stuff out?

Mostly from just reading comments. Usually, when someone says "hon" or "sweetie" in the sentence, it can mean one of two things: 1. They like saying it because it comes natural to them, or 2. They like each other enough to say it on a public website.
